Burglary Duo Captured; Composite Led to TipCLAY COUNTY, FL - As many as fifteen burglary cases in Clay County may be solved due to the capture and arrest of suspects Blake Eckert of Jacksonville and his co-defendant Jessica Inscoe of Middleburg. The two were arrested by detectives from the CCSO General Investigations Unit who worked all weekend following an anonymous tip received after a composite drawing of the suspect was aired. Eckert, 22, is charged with Armed Burglary and Grand Theft of a Firearm. Inscoe, 24, is charged with Burglary. Detectives believe Eckert and Inscoe may be responsible for numerous burglaries across Clay County including ones to homes and vehicles in Lake Asbury, Middleburg and Orange Park. The investigation into all their activities continues. Many stolen items have been recovered and submitted as evidence. Detectives are in the process of obtaining additional search warrants as they seek to locate more stolen property with the goal of returning items to victims. Stolen items include televisions, video games, generators and numerous pieces of jewelry. Both Eckert and Inscoe are registered convicted felons with lengthy arrest records in Clay County. |
