Charity softball game planned

Harvey "Mr. Steeler" Aronson, Vice President and Director of Operations for JAXB.A.G. (Jacksonville Black and Gold) and Robb Chamberlain, CEO and Co-founder of JagNation.com are proposing a charity softball game for September 27 between fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars in preparation for the game between those two teams on October 5. The game is being held to benefit a yet-to-be named charity as well as pledging sportsmanship between the two fan bases.

New Coaches hired

PONTE VEDRA, FL - Former Nease High girls soccer coach Dave Silverberg, who guided the Panthers to four state championships in seven seasons, has been hired as the first girls soccer coach at the new Ponte Vedra High School. Former Vanderbilt tennis player and LPGA staff member Hilary Hoffman is the school’s new girls golf and tennis coach.
