"Funny Money" lands teen in jailMACCLENNY, FL - Maybe you could call it having an entrepreneurial spirit, however, a Baker County teen’s creativity landed him in jail this week. The 17-year old was arrested by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly making counterfeit money. Investigators seized more than $1,200 in fake bills that the teen had printed using his home computer and printer. The teen had used at least one of the $100 bills to pay for gas and groceries and Jones Grocery Store. The counterfeit bill was discovered hours later and police were called. Unfortunately, the boy attempted to pass a second bill at the store and was arrested. |
