Suns return for homestand

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Suns began a five-game homestand at the Baseball Grounds Saturday night. The Suns will face the Mobile BayBears in Jacksonville for the first time this season through Wednesday, June 4th!

The series began Saturday, May 31, with Hurricane Preparedness Night! The first 3,000 fans got a jump-start on hurricane season with a portable emergency lamp that converts into an emergency flashlight, sponsored by Everbank and 96.9 The Eagle. The Suns also gave way emergency kits and one lucky fan won a portable generator!

Monday night, June 2, is the second in the Suns series of Hall of Fame Photoball Giveaways. The first 1,000 fans will receive a photoball of former Jacksonville Brave Phil Niekro. Also, show your church bulletin from the prior Sunday for a $5 discount off a regular-priced ticket at the box office!

Tuesday, June 3, is another Fifty-Cent Family Feast night. Enjoy fifty-cent hot dogs, peanuts and ice cream treats all night, courtesy of Blue Bell Ice Cream, Hampton Farms, Folio Weekly and 99.9 Gator Country. It's also Sam's Club Night - show your Sam's Club membership card at the box office for a $2 discount off a regular-priced ticket.

The series draws to a close on Wednesday afternoon with a Businessperson Special. For $14 fans can purchase a Homeplate Box ticket, hot dog and large drink at the ticket windows. Enjoy baseball in the SUNShine, presented by The Florida Times-Union, Comcast and WOKV AM690 & 106.5FM.

Tickets are $6.00 for general admission, $9.00 for reserved seating and $12.00 for Homeplate Box seating. Limited sponsorships, season tickets and group packages are still available.
