BayBears win Sunday afternoon

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Mobile BayBears (23-34) outlasted the Jacksonville Suns (26-31) with a 2-1 final in front of 3,156 on Sunday afternoon at the Baseball Grounds.

The second-place Suns' loss combined with first place Birmingham's win at Mississippi dropped Jacksonville to eight games back with 13 games remaining in the Southern League South Division first half race.
