Amelia Community Theatre offers voice class

Amelia Community Theatre will hold a voice class for actors 18 and older on June 5 at the theater, 209 Cedar St. The registration fee is $15 and participants may attend a session from 10:00 a.m. until noon or 2:00-4:00 p.m.

The class, taught by Sinda Nichols, is for all experience levels, including beginners, and will include basic techniques and exercises for the training of an actor's voice. For more information or to register, call 261-6749.

Summer Theater Camp

Amelia Community Theatre will offer summer theater camp for children ages 7 through 12 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. on June 9-13 and June 16-20. Cost for a one-week session is $30. The theater is located at 209 Cedar St. Call 261-6749 for registration packets.

Tickets to 2008-2009 FCCJ Artist Series season at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts are on sale now with prices ranging from $102.50 to $265.40. Season ticket prices vary depending on the show time, day of the week and seating location. Single-show tickets typically go on sale to the general public 6-8 weeks prior to opening night. Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Phone: 904-633-6110 for information.
