American Idol coming to Jacksonville

Think you have enough talent to be the next American Idol? Here’s your big chance to be a star. Jacksonville is one of eight cities that will play host to auditions for Season 8 of 'American Idol.'

Once again, auditioners will have an extraordinary opportunity to perform before millions of TV viewers and become household names, with one winning the coveted American Idol title and a major recording contract.

Auditions will be at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Wednesday, August 13.
