Take Your Child to Work Day

Rocky, a K-9 officer with Florida Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Compliance, "hits" on the scent of drugs hidden in a patrol car to demonstrate for the children Thursday, April 24 during Take Your Child to Work Day at the FDOT district office.

Thursday was Take Your Child to Work Day and companies around North Florida recognized the day by allowing employees to bring their children to the workplace.

The day originally started as Bring Your Daughter to Work Day and over the years has expanded to include boys as well as girls.
