The unmistakable songs made famous by Louis Armstrong ring clear in this special tribute by trumpeter Marcus Belgrave and his eight-member band on Saturday, May 10 at The Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts in Orange Park.

Blessed with the chops and personality to pay a fitting tribute to the New Orleans legend, Marcus Belgrave is hailed as one of the few performers working today with the essential qualities needed to deliver a loving and convincing tribute to Louis Armstrong.

Belgrave is an astonishing trumpet virtuoso with a natural gravelly voice, an engaging warm stage persona and down home sense of humor.

Hand picked by Wynton Marsalis as one of the original members of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Belgrave is joined by his eight-piece band in this show that is big in sound, big in respect and big with audiences across the country.
