Not So Good

Not So Good

By DAVID THEUS

I’m not going to even waste your time. The Vega Fina 7.5x50 was not a good experience. I know, I know, Cigar Aficionado gives an 85 rating, but let me tell you, there’s a reason it didn’t

Vega Fina 7.5x50
get a 95. Its light wrapper is neatly tailored and quite the specimen upon first inspection. One smoker said it had a salty taste with a hint of capers and nuts, salty yes, forgive me for not wanting a salty taste, it reminded me of the flavor after gargling with salt water to sooth a sore throat, yum.

It has Dominican roots to its origin, but hand-rolled in Spain leaves me wandering why. I will not include this cigar or brand for that matter in my humidor. Like I said when I opened the article: I’m not going to even waste your time. The good news… on to the next cigar for tasting and sampling. Smile.
