Saturdays on the Suwannee, 21 weekends of camping and concert series, is the answer to your summertime plans. And, this more than $1,600 value is only $99 plus tax at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida on the banks of the famous Suwannee River from May 24 - Oct. 11.
Entertainers lined up for this concert series include the Kentucky Headhunters, Eddy Raven, Ronnie McDowell, Mel McDaniel, LoCash Cowboys, Larry Mangum, Keith Catron & the Accelerators, Sun Country, Teddy Mac as Elvis and Justin Case and others to be announced.
Families can spend every weekend at the Spirit of the Suwannee this summer and early fall enjoying all the amenities of the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park campground.
In addition to the quality entertainment each weekend, guests can enjoy the on-site SOS Cafe, canoeing, horseback riding, mini golf, disc golf and swimming in the cool and refreshing outdoor pool.
There is also fishing on the famous Suwannee River or Rees Lake, hiking the interesting trails at the Spirit of the Suwannee and surrounding areas or shopping at the Country Store. You can also browse the arts and crafts shops, check out the Boatright Barn with its historic displays of old farm equipment and watch the bats swarm from their one-of-a-kind Bat House each evening.
Nearby attractions include the Stephen Foster State Culture Center, the old jail in Jasper and old train depot in Live Oak. For the more adventurous at heart, there is cave diving for certified cave divers in Suwannee County, big game hunting in Hamilton County and Gulf of Mexico fishing a short distance away.
Adults pay $99 plus tax for a campsite with water and electricity for a full 21 weekends from May 24 - Oct. 11 under this special package, which includes one concert ticket for an adult 13 and older during the 21 weekends. Children 12 and under are admitted free. All concerts are scheduled to be held in the Music Hall where meals are available every evening.
