To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday on stage at ABET

Now playing at the Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre is Michael Brady's To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday. Directed by Carson Merry Baillie, ABET's, the play centers around David, who has been mourning the death of his wife, Gillian, for two years. With the love and support of family, he struggles to understand that life must go on.

The role of Gillian is played by Rebecca Williams and Wesley Nielsen plays David, the widower. Morgan Williams, a Ponte Vedra Beach resident and student at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts plays the role of Rachel, David and Gillian's daughter.

Rounding out the cast is Karen Garrett as Esther; Jon Fine as Paul; Sarah Painter plays Kevin; and Jennah Downs playing the role of Cindy.

To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday runs through Saturday, May 24, at the Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre. Show times are 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Matinees are at 2:00 p.m. Sunday and Sunday, May 18. The theater is in the Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd. Tickets are $15, $12 for students, seniors and military.
