Traffic will be detoured to fix railroad crossing Traffic will be detoured to fix railroad crossingLAKE CITY, FL - U.S. Highway 90 and Baya Drive will be closed several times during the next two weeks to allow crews to replace railroad crossings, according to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). U.S. 90, at the railroad crossing just west of County Road 100A, will be totally closed to all traffic at 8:00 a.m. Monday, June 2 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 6. All traffic, including pedestrians, will be detoured to Baya Drive to Southeast Llewellyn Avenue and back to U.S. 90. Baya Drive, just south of State Road 100, will be totally closed at 8:00 a.m., Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 13 at 5:00 p.m. All traffic, including pedestrians, will be detoured to U.S. 90 and to Southeast Llewellyn Avenue during the closure. Message signs will be in place prior to the closure. Law enforcement officers will be posted at the closure and at key points along the detour to assist with traffic.
