Our very own Natalie proves what a week off can do to get your thoughts together and work on the swing, all in an effort to prove to herself that she can compete at this level. This week at the Ginn Tribute hosted by Annika in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina Natalie finished one place out of the top ten by tying for 11th place and taking home a cool $45,630 all for a week’s work.
A whole host of funny names finished in the top ten this week at the Ginn. Finishing in 10th place was Se Ri Pak. This 5’ 6" South Korean golfer was able to add her second career Top 10 finish to her standings this week. Along with: Na Yeon Choi, Sun Young Yoo, Inbee Park, Song-He Kim, and this week’s winner of the Ginn Tribute: Ms. Seon Wa Lee taking home this year’s winner’s portion of the purse, $390,000.
Next week finds our ladies of golf playing the McDonald’s LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This 1998 Pete Dye course is yet another 72 hole format and a purse of $2,000,000 to split amongst the winners. Good luck to our Natalie and great job this week. Let’s keep up the good work.
