Strahan set for retirement

     After fifteen seasons of what will surely be a Hall of Fame career defensive end Michael Strahan has called it a career. Strahan ended his career on top as he waited it out one more season with the New York Giants, and came out with a Super Bowl Championship. I wonder if ex-teammate Tiki Barber wished he had done the same.

     The NBA Finals is only two games deep into the seven game series, and already has provided enough to talk about to last weeks following the series. Game one had perhaps one of the biggest injury comebacks since Willis Reed when Paul Pierce felt his knee pop after going down.

     The Jacksonville Jaguars concluded their 2008 mini-camp with two practice sessions on Saturday on the practice fields at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The Jaguars also held two practices on Friday.

Suns Hall of Fame Alumni Photoball series resumes
     The Jacksonville Suns recently wrapped up an exciting week-long homestand at the Baseball Grounds from Saturday, May 31st, through Wednesday, June 4th, against the Mobile Baybears. A total of 1,000 Special Edition Photoballs featuring Phil Niekro were given away on June 2nd and the giveaway series resumes on June 11th with the Tom Seaver Photoball.
