After each Saturday home game, fans can enjoy music by internationally acclaimed recording artists, as well as a fireworks spectacular, all free with a ticket purchased for the Marlins game. Super Saturdays will also feature: • Pregame parties at The Strike Zone at Gate H featuring DJ M-Dot (the official DJ of the Florida Marlins), celebrity appearances, marching bands, Billy The Marlin, the Mermaids and Manatees, special prizes and live TV/radio broadcasts. • Parking lot giveaways for the first 5,000 cars. • Interactive giveaways for the first 15,000 fans. • An enhanced game presentation featuring Super Saturdays host Johanna Gomez and multiple premium giveaways. The final six Super Saturdays of the 2008 season include: July 19 (Marlins vs. Phillies 3:55 p.m.) - Jerry Rivera Puerto Rico native Jerry Rivera is a Grammy and Latin Grammy-award nominated salsa singer. His third album, Cuenta Conmigo , won three Platinum Record awards in the United States, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Colombia. It became the most-sold salsa album in history, a record previously held by Willie Colon. Its hit songs included "Cuenta Conmigo", "Me Estoy Enamorando", "Casi Un Hechizo" and the number one hit from the album "Amores Como El Nuestro". August 2 (Marlins vs. Rockies 7:10 p.m.) - The Bangles Rock historians view the Bangles as one of the greatest all-female bands ever, lauding the L.A.-based quartet for its inventive incorporation of '60s folk rock, sunny SoCal harmonies and Beatles/Byrds/Beach Boys/Big Star godhead into a sound all its own - beguiling, frequently bittersweet, but always life-affirming; a canny merger of art and commerce. August 30 (Marlins vs. Mets 7:10 p.m.) - Olga Tañon Puerto Rican five-time Grammy award-winner, and recipient of 19Premios Lo Nuestro awards, Olga Tañon started her musical career in the 80's, but began her solo career in 1992. Tañon earned her first double-platinum record for her album "Siente el Amor." She later went on to record a Tex-Mex album with Mexican renowned singer Marco Antonio Solis, which turned her into the first Puerto Rican artist to be certified by the Recording Industry Association of America to have sold half a million records. September 13 (Marlins vs. Nationals - 7:10 p.m.) - Victor Manuelle and Albita (Hispanic Heritage Weekend) Victor Manuelle was a leading voice among the generation of New York salsa performers who rose to prominence in the mid-'90s. Mentored by Gilberto Santa Rosa and produced by Sergio George, Manuelle regularly topped the tropical charts during his mid-'90s peak, as his albums Victor Manuelle (1996) and A Pesar de Todo (1997) spun off a nonstop parade of number one hits. Cuban-born Albita is a timeless artist who is a singer, musician, composer and producer. The two-time Grammy winner began singing on the streets of Little Havana with the help of Emilio Estefan. September 20 (Marlins vs. Phillies 7:10 p.m.) - Lou Gramm of Foreigner (Fan Appreciation Weekend) Among the most distinctive and powerful voices to emerge from Rock and Top 40 radio, Lou Gramm - the lead vocalist and co-writer of the multi-platinum band Foreigner - as well as a successful solo artist in his own right - remains one of the most recognizable performers in music today. As the vocalist on 20 Top 40 singles, he exploded onto the international music scene with Foreigner on the chart topper, "Feels Like The First Time," in 1977.
