Holy invasion... Bats, man!

Holy invasion... Bats, man!

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - An invasion has closed St. Augustine’s only Social Security office. No, not terrorists or enemies of the state. Bats.

That right, Robin. Bats.

The office has been closed for the past two weeks because of an estimated 1,000 brown bats

Brown bats
were found nesting in the ceiling area. Exterminators have been called in to take care of the problem.

Employees are commuting to offices in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach and Palatka while the office is closed and a temporary office is in the process of being set up to handle customers.

A spokesman said they didn't know exactly how many bats there were or how they got there.

Wonder if the Joker did it?
