Official qualifying ends for upcoming elections

By MELISSA BURNSED

Last Friday marked the close of official qualifying for county, state and federal elections on the upcoming ballots. There were no last minute surprises among the ranks of offices up for grabs around North Florida.

North Florida News Daily has already listed the complete roster of candidates for local and constitutional offices in Baker, Bradford and Union Counties. The heat is on as numerous candidates for races including sheriff and county commissioners stump for votes. Voters will be closely following the fireworks as the summer election season heads toward the late August primary.
