New schedule

Beginning July 6, Blackrock Baptist Church, 96362 Blackrock Road, Yulee, will begin a new Sunday morning worship schedule.

Sunday school will begin at 9:15 a.m. and the morning worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will no longer be an "early" service. All other services will continue the same. For more information call the church office at 261-6220.

Sunday evening services are at 6 p.m. Wednesday dinners are at 5:30 p.m., with a prayer/praise service at 7 p.m. and youth Bible study at 7 p.m. For more information call the church office at 261-6220.

Patriotic Sunday service

UNION COUNTY, FL - The Community Choir at North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will present the gospel singing "God Bless the USA" Sunday, June 29. Everyone is invited for an all-American lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and apple pie beginning at 12:30 p.m. The singing will follow at 2 p.m.

Family fun

Hilliard First Assembly of God will host a free Family Fun Night on June 27 at 6:30 p.m. with a movie and popcorn. Children of the community are invited and must be accompanied by a parent.

The church will host Family Fun Nights throughout the summer. The next will be a Game Night on July 11 and a Wet Night on July 25 with a giant waterslide inflatable. Children may bring their own water guns. Hilliard First Assembly of God is located on U.S. 1 a quarter of a mile south of the red light in Hilliard.
