CLAY COUNTY:

• SR 100 Rails to Trails — SR 100 side-street traffic between the Bradford County line to the Putnam County line may be impacted periodically while the contractor completes miscellaneous items along the trail. Vehicular traffic is prohibited on the trial.

COLUMBIA COUNTY:

• I-75 — Daytime and nighttime lane closures beginning Sunday night at 7 p.m. from three miles north of U.S. 441 to just north of SR 47 for placing the final layer of asphalt. One lane will be closed during daytime hours and nighttime hours, but two lanes can only be closed at night after 8 p.m. No lane closures allowed Friday through Sunday. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph when lanes are closed, and the Florida Highway Patrol will be enforcing the speed limit.

• I-75 — Daytime lane closures on the ramps at all interchanges between the Alachua and Suwannee county lines, except SR 47, to repaint the roadway lines.

• SW Walter Avenue — The road is closed at the Rose Creek Bridge for bridge replacement. All traffic is detoured to SW Little Road for the next four months.

• U.S. 90 West — Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Brown Road for turn lane construction to new Cypress Lakes Business Park. Use alternative routes such as Pinemount Road or Lake Jeffery Road in the mornings and afternoons to avoid congestion if possible.

GAINESVILLE:

• NE 3rd Street — Motorists should use care in passing the roll off container for construction debris immediately north of University Avenue on the east side of NE 3rd Street until July.

• SE 4th Street — The 800 block of SE 4th Street will have daily lane closures this week for utility work for Alachua County Fire Rescue Station 1.

• SE 1st Avenue — Due to the construction of the Hampton Inn, SE 1st Avenue is one way, westbound, between SE 1st and 3rd streets until about April 2009. On-street parking on the east side of the 100 block of SE 1st Street and the north side of the 100 block of 2nd Avenue has been removed. Parking has been temporarily added on the south side of the 200 block of SE 1st Avenue.

• SW 3rd Avenue — The roadway between SW 3rd and 5th streets will be closed for several months due to construction.

• SW 62nd Boulevard — Daytime lane closures due to road construction may delay RTS buses on Routes 20 and 21 for several weeks.

• NW 18th Street — The roadway from University Avenue to NW 1st Avenue will be closed until about June 2008.

UNION COUNTY:

• SR 18 — Daytime lane closures between SR 121 and the Bradford County line for punch list and clean-up. The final layer of asphalt will begin to be placed beginning June 25.
