For such a small town, Orlando sure had a way of making it’s citizens feel all grown up and citified. There was a place on East Colonial Drive (Hwy. 50) some people knew it as, in the old Colonial Mall shopping center just across from the old Belk’s, right on the front of the strip called Ronnie’s - Coffee Shop - Restaurant, and Bake Shop. We locals all called it just Ronnie’s, or Ronnie’s Delicatessen. More ... Just the other night, Sheila, Sarah, and I decided at the last moment to try the Smokey Barrel down at 8771 Highway 301 in Maxville, just where SR 228 runs into 301. More ... You have to love the hype put out by cigar manufacturers and distributors these days. The good news here is, this one lives up to the hype and more. More ... |
