Incorruptible

A Dark Comedy about the Dark Ages

March 13 - 28, 2009

Welcome to Priseaux, France, c. 1250 A.D., where the Dark Ages are still looking pretty dark. Saint Foy, the patron saint of the local monastery hasn’t worked a miracle in 13 years and the monks are destitute. All seems lost until a larcenous one-eyed minstrel teaches the monks an outrageous new way to pay old debts. This fast-paced farce is irreverent and endearing. Directed by Steve Reden

Tentative Auditions: December, January

Nuts
by Tom Topor

May 15 - 30, 2009

Tentative Auditions: February or March

In this tense courtroom drama, a woman fights for her right to stand trial, rather than be declared mentally incompetent and committed to an institution. The ADULT THEMES, some of them sexual, are moving, thought provoking, and often funny. This Broadway hit was made into a movie starring Barbra Streisand. Directed by Ron Kurtz

Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks
by Richard Alfieri

July 17 - August 1, 2009

An aging, but still formidable woman hires a cynical dance instructor to give her lessons at her condo in St. Petersburg, Florida. Antagonism between the two gives way to compatibility as they swing dance, tango, foxtrot, and cha-cha in this touching comedy that proves that compassionate friendships can develop between the unlikeliest of people. (ADULT LANGUAGE) Directed by Toni D'Amico

Tentative Auditions: early 2009
