The Limelight Theatre hosts Let’s Pretend Mini Camp

ST AUGUSTINE, FL - The Limelight Theatre is the place to bring the kids on these hot summer days. Let’s Pretend Mini Camp is for students K-2nd to get a "taste" of theatre by playing simple games, learning songs and poems and creating a special world to perform and play in. Camp runs July 21-25, M, W, and F 10:00AM -12:00PM, tuition is $75.

1^ST annual Limelight Theatre’s KIDZfACTory banquet

St. Augustine Fl- The Limelight Theatre is hosting a fundraising banquet for its educational program – KIDZfACTory. This banquet will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday July 13, 2008 at the Asian Thai Palace, 4010 US 1 South, St. Augustine, FL 32086. Please come and enjoy the wonderful cuisine of the Asian Thai Palace while you watch the KIDZfACTory actors perform favorite scenes from some of the 2007-2008 kids shows. Prices are $15 for Adults and $10 for children under age 10.

There will be an auction featuring donations from local businesses, and awards for all participants in the KIDZfACTory season. Due to catering restrictions, reservations are required for this event. Reservation deadline is July 3 and may be made by calling the Limelight Box Office at 904-825-1164

The 1940's Radio Hour Auditions

Auditions will be held on Friday, July 11 at 7:00 PM, and Saturday, July 12 at 1:00 PM at Orange Park Community Theatre in the rehearsal hall. Please go into the rehearsal hall through the door at the end of the building.

The script calls for 10 men and 5 women of all ages. Candidates should prepare an up-tempo song and should bring the sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Please don't bring recorded background music. Auditioners will "cold read" from the script. The Orange Park Community Theatre is located at 2900 Moody Ave in Orange Park, between Bolton and Filmore Streets.

Performances will be September 5 - 27, 2008.
