package store too? Owners Nicky Spofford and his family several years ago decided to transform what the locals affectionately called "Monty’s" into a place you could comfortably enjoy a reasonably priced full dining experience with your entire family.
The menu is extensive with a multitude of traditional options from tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, to several of their own signature dishes that make it their own. The house salsa is great! It has that perfect level of heat, but not so much that it’s uncomfortable, combined with just the right amount of smoke. All in one served with fresh lightly salted chips to start off with.
Our server was very friendly and quick to explain several of the items from the menu. The best part was when she took our drink order, I knew I could get a real pitcher of "Top Shelf" margarita’s and not those wine based mixes some of the other places offer.
When our food arrived, the one thing that really stood out to me was the care and detail in the presentation. A great dining experience ultimately centers around the flavor, freshness, and how your food is properly prepared and cooked. All of which in this case exceeded all of my expectations, but the attention to detail in their presentation was very well executed.
