Here we go again down the road towards fall releases. If you haven’t been here,  here is what’s going on. Last week was PS3 releases for this fall. This week we will look at the best selling console, Nintendo’s Wii. Next week will be the Xbox 360 and wrapping it up the following

week with multi-platform releases. Let’s began shall we.

What better way to start off a Nintendo article than to mention one of the greatest video game icons around, Mario. However, while most people would rather hear "Mario has a new platformer coming out this fall", sadly that is not the case. Mario Super Sluggers puts Mario in the sports scene again with America’s Pastime. That’s baseball for the sports impaired. The  game will feature a multitude of characters ranging from koopas to shyguys and each of the supporting characters will have multiple outfitswith different stats. Mario Super Sluggers hits  shelves August 25th.

You'll think of your pizza in a whole new way.
A new game published by Gamecock and developed by Red Fly Studio is coming this October to the Wii and DS. Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars follows up on the DS game Rise of the Fungi. After a meteor crashes on earth and releases a chemical that brings the mushrooms to life, it is a fight for supremacy and the only one who can stop it is you. This game already has the makings of a great action title for the Wii.

What happens if you take the party style gameplay of Mario Party and fuse it with the slaying of dragons and the rescuing of princesses, Dokapon Kingdom! Set to hit the Wii this October, Dokapon Kingdom is a RPG party game. Loaded with the story of an RPG and the friend playing ability, up to four, Dokapon Kingdom is sure to be a hit with your Dungeons and

Dragons buddies.

Perhaps a little darker than most other titles on the Wii, Deadly Creatures looks pretty amazing. Brought to you by developer Rainbow Studios, the game is packed with promise. You travel as a tarantula and a scorpion across the desert to get to your ancestral home. Does it sound boring to you? It shouldn’t. The game has a deep storyline that throws twists at every turn. I am eager to see what the game will tell in October.

Step aside, shrimp!

Deadly Creatures is one of the best looking games on the Wii.
