This year’s winner was South Korea’s Seon Hwa Lee. This victory secures for Ms. Lee the number five position in the overall money list for this year at a whopping $993,823.00. When asked how she felt after the win, she had this to say: "I feel great. This is my second win this year, and it was a really tough day, the weather was really hard, and everything was really hard. But I really feel good about my game. And every single shot was I wanted today, and I feel really great. I feel really good now." To wrap up the top five finisher’s, Jane Park and Meena Lee tied for second one stroke back from the winner with a -14, and tying for fourth place were Karen Stupples and Ai Miyazato, two back from the leader with -13 for the tournament. Second and fourth place finishers taking home $133,624 and $65,508 respectively. As for our Natalie, she’s involved in more than just golf this season. The "Who's Behind Your Success?" contest, which is open to anyone over age 18, invites participants to submit essays of 200 words or less, highlighting the most influential and/or inspirational individual behind the success in their life. Essays can be submitted through Aug. 4, 2008, at the contest's web site, www.rsmmcgladrey.com/nataliecontest, which also will feature Gulbis' own personal essay about her father, who she calls the most influential person behind her success. One grand prize winner will be announced Oct. 21 during the National Championship rounds of The PGA McGladrey Team Championship, the first nationwide grassroots best-ball amateur championship managed by The PGA of America. Five finalists will receive the following: TaylorMade Driver, adidas golf shoes, a Canon Six PowerShot and a SkyCaddie SG-5. Natalie said this about the opportunity: "I am very proud to work with McGladrey on the 'Who's Behind Your Success?' contest. I think it's a great idea for a contest and I hope everyone will participate, I submitted my own essay about my dad, who sacrificed a lot to help me keep my dreams alive, and I hope it encourages people across the country to participate.
