     Superintendent Paula T. Barton has appointed Gail Griffis as Principal at Keller Intermediate School. She has served a Assistant Principal at Baker County Middle School for the past five years.

Wildlife officer a true hero
     A Macclenny woman is lucky to be alive that to the heroic efforts of a state wildlife officer. Florida Fish and Wildlife Officer Bret Gill was in the right place and the right time on Saturday when he came upon a fiery wreck in Lake Butler. Gill was off-duty and on his way home when he was flagged down and told about the accident.
