Windrusher returns in Windrusher and the Trail of Fire

Another in the series of fantasy/adventure novels about Windrusher the cat will be introduced Saturday, August 9, by the author and Ponte Vedra Beach resident Vic DiGenti.

The book, Windrusher and the Trail of Fire, the third in the series, will be available at a book-

release party at 2:00 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Booksellers at St. Johns Town Center.

Refreshments will be served, and there will be prizes, readings from the new book and a trivia contest.

In his newest adventure, Windrusher finds himself separated from his caretakers and relocated to a rural rescue operation called Precious Friends Cat Sanctuary. He faces the challenge of saving the 200 cats in the sanctuary from a raging wildfire.

A Windrusher look-alike contest will be held, and those who wish to enter a cat should bring a photograph.

DiGenti lives in Ponte Vedra with his wife and their seven rescued cats.
