State highways rank 41st in nation State highways rank 41st in nationFlorida highways rank 41st in nation according to the 17th Annual Highway Performance report from the Reason Foundation. The report is based on traffic congestion, fatalities and pavement conditions. The survey did give Florida high marks for highways in rural areas, but that was not enough to overcome low rankings of Florida's more than 12,000 miles of highway. North Dakota and South Carolina roads rated highest. New Jersey ranked last. |
