Cornelius Ingram down, more sidelined
     The Florida Gators received some bad news last week as they realized they would be without their starting tight end and future NFL player, Cornelius Ingram. Ingram hurt his knee last week in non-contact drills when he injured his ACL. Earlier this week, Ingram underwent season ending knee surgery.

Gator volleyball begins preseason practice
     The Florida volleyball team, coming off a 29-3 record and an NCAA Regional Semifinal appearance in 2007, will begin its 2008 fall camp on Monday at the L. Gale Lemerand Center.

     Newly renovated Swisher Gymnasium got its first official test on Saturday as the JU volleyball team opened preseason camp under the direction of third-year head coach Shaun Kupferberg.

Track & field earns seventh consecutive USTFCCCA All-Academic Team accolade
     The JU track and field team has been taking care of business in compeitions with three consecutive Atlantic Sun Indoor & Outdoor Championships, but the Dolphins have been getting it done in the classroom way before that as they pick up their seventh consecutive U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team honors.
