Brannan honored with memorial marker

 Brannan honored with memorial marker

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The entire Baker County community grieved last November with the untimely death of beloved educator and principal Kim Brannan. But now another tribute will remember the woman who touched so many lives.

Kimberly Brannan

Brannan was killed on November 9, 2007 in an accident on Interstate 10 just before the I-295 interchange. She and three other Baker County educators were on their way to St. Augustine for training when she lost control of her SUV and swerved off the road. The vehicle overturned and Mrs. Brannan was ejected. Her passengers escaped with minor injuries.

On Tuesday, August 5, workers with the Florida Department of Transportation installed a memorial marker for Mrs. Brannan at the site of the crash.
