POSTED Football player flown to hospital after accident on fieldGLEN SAINT MARY, FL - A Baker County football player sustained critical injuries during practice this afternoon. According to early reports the 15-year-old player was injured during a head-to-head collision with another player on the practice fields behind Baker County High school. The player was transported by air to Shands Jacksonville and his injuries are currently being assessed by the trauma unit. The Wildcat player is not being identified, however, a fund to help with medical expenses was set up at VyStar Credit Union, account No. 0702742751. |
