State assessors recommend CCSO for
Re-Accreditation

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL - Sheriff Rick Beseler and his staff were notified that the team of assessors from the Florida Commission for Accreditation (FCA) will recommend the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for re-accreditation. This positive recommendation is a reflection of the professionalism of the members the assessors encountered and interviewed during their visit to Clay County.

Sheriff Rick Beseler believes the process, which included months of file preparation and on-site visits, was a huge success. "Overall, the assessors were very pleased with what they saw and were very complimentary about how we conduct business," Beseler said. "I am extremely proud of the men and women who make up this great organization and this process would not have gone so well if it hadn’t been for each of them working toward this common goal", he said.

The Sheriff and his staff are scheduled to receive the actual certificate of re-accreditation from the FCA in October.
