Community Concerts opens golden anniversary season October 10

Community Concerts opens golden anniversary season October 10

Community Concerts of Lake City will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year with six new performances. The season begins with"Puss In Boots" on Friday, October 10th. Bits ‘n Pieces Puppet Theater presents a Broadway-style puppet musical with giant new-foot-tall puppets to delight the family.

"Puss in Boots," the magic cat, learns honesty is the best policy as he helps Nat defeat a wicked ogre, rescue a kidnapped Princess, and change from Paw-per to Aristo-Cat. A free student outreach program is scheduled at noon the same day.

The season continues with these performances:

Daniel Narducci, Baritone

Movie-star handsome Daniel Narducci, who could be the model for masculinity in operatic baritones, captures the essential elements of each song not only by voice but by manner, as he seems to transform his persona with each different selection.
