Fireworks, food, fun, at Labor Day Extravaganza Fireworks, food, fun, at Labor Day ExtravaganzaSPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA - It’s a Labor Day Extravaganza at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this weekend with fireworks, music, fun, food, water sliding and much, much more. It’s the last holiday of the summer - Labor Day - and it’s time to take that last summer vacation, head to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and enjoy a grand weekend! It’s a weekend filled with things to do for everyone whether you’re camping at the Music Park or drive in for the day. For those who drive in for the day Saturday, Sunday or Monday, the event fee is $10 per carload at the gate. That fee gets you a day of fun at the Music Park including free water sliding on our new Bubba Slide, swimming in the park’s pool, free hotdogs and soda and admission to the beautiful fireworks show around 8:30 p.m. The Music Park also has available a Country Store, mini golf, horseback riding, canoeing, bicycling, hiking, golf cart rental and just plain relaxing and doing absolutely nothing! For those who want to attend just the fireworks show Saturday night, gate admission is $5 per carload. *Friday night is karaoke with Ted McMullen in the Music Hall. There’s no admission charge for this show. Come prepared to perform, use Teddy Mac's CD library or bring your own CD with music. *Saturday night will feature A Tribute to Legends Music Show with Ted McMullen and other performers paying tribute to Elvis, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Travis Tritt and Hank Williams Sr. and more. You’ll think you’re hearing the real artists when you attend this show. Come early - this show will pack them in. Admission to the Music Hall Saturday night is $10 per person. A Saturday night special of barbecue chicken or pork, baked beans and cole slaw will be available Saturday night at regular price for hungry guests. About 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening the music will take a break to allow everyone to go out and watch the fireworks in the Jam Field, with music resuming immediately afterward. *Sunday night the featured artist will be the fantastic Mike Miller Band with no admission charge. Mike is sure to have everyone of all ages on the dance floor dancing with their sweetie and cutting the rug! The Music Hall will open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As usual, the SOS Café and Restaurant will have food and beverages available at regular prices during the evening performances. The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is located just 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 and 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 on US 129 on the famous Suwannee River.
