Union County Tigers ready to play

In his second year at Union County High School athletic director and Tigers Head Coach Andrew Zow is looking to improve on last year’s 3-7 season with their first playoff berth since 2005.

"We definitely want to get into the playoffs, because once you get into the playoffs anything can happen, actually guys can get better throughout the year and you can find something that really works for you at the end of the year where it hadn’t worked at the beginning," Zow said in a recent interview

Union County returns just three starters on offense and brings back only three starters on the defense.

The Tigers will meet the Bradford Tornadoes on August 29 for their Jamboree.
