Bradford loses opener to Ft. White

Bradford loses opener to Ft. White

Bradford County came up short in their season opener against the Ft. White Indians Friday night. A strong start with a breakaway run by Rodney Mosley #3 was halted by Ft. White’s Anthony Smalls.

The Indians were unable to score after picking up a Bradford fumble, but got great field advantage when the ensuing punt was downed on the 3-yard line.

The Ft. White line got in some good blocks stopping the Tornadoes from scoring in the first half. The Indians were on fire with three touchdowns and a field goal and ended the half with a 24-0 lead.

The Indians came back as strong in the second half adding two more touchdowns making it 38-0.

Bradford would threaten late in the fourth quarter, but were shut out in the season opener.

Bradford will play at Baker County next week. Fort White will host Keystone Heights.
