Orange Park Mall invites Nonprofits to participate in "Simon Evening of Giving"

ORANGE PARK - Orange Park Mall invites local charities and nonprofit organizations to participate in its annual holiday fundraising event, Simon Evening of Giving, which takes place this year on Sunday, November 23 from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and benefits local, regional and national charities.

On the evening of the event, Orange Park Mall will be open exclusively to shoppers who have purchased Simon Evening of Giving tickets (at $10 apiece) from participating charities. The private holiday event will feature exclusive store discounts throughout the mall, family entertainment and more.

Local organizations will have the opportunity to sell tickets to this event, with $7 from each ticket directly benefiting the organization and the remaining $3 benefiting the Simon Youth Foundation, a nonprofit organization that fosters educational and career development for at-risk youth.

Participating charities also will have the opportunity to display information about their respective organizations for shoppers during the event, further raising awareness about their causes.

Last year's Simon Evening of Giving, held at 61 Simon Malls across the country, raised over $1,600,000 for over 2,329 national, regional and local charities.

A staple in the Orange Park community since 1975, Orange Park Mall is anchored by five department stores including Belk, Dillard's, JCPenney, Sears and Dick's Sporting Goods and features 120 specialty stores including Books-A-Million, Hollister and Old Navy. The mall also offers a state-of-the-art AMC 24-screen theater, a 400-seat food court and an indoor children's Play Area.
