Party games Party gamesParties! What a way to get all your friends together and hang out. However, what can you do? Well, I guess you could play pin the tail on the donkey. But, I don’t think that will impress anyone. However, what if you could find a way to get all of your friends over to game. Wow, that might actually work. What are some good games for parties though? Have you ever watched a movie on television and thought, "I could do something better than that." Well, now is your chance with You’re In the Movies. Movies is expected to release this holiday season and should be a great hit at parties. If you’re having a party you could split up into teams and have a contest to see who could make the best movie. After everyone has made their movie you could all gather around and watch it. How cool is that? The game uses the Xbox Vision Camera that will be sold with the game or can be purchased separately. Speaking of movies, Scene It? Box Office Smash, set to release this fall brings movie and trivia fans together. With hundreds of movies and different game types, everyone will enjoy this game. Also with the downloadable content on Xbox Live the game never gets old. Every party should have music right? So why not provide your own? Rock Band and Guitar Hero do just that, and are good games for the casual party. With it’s different difficulty settings and easy to learn controls it should be a hit with hardcore and casual gamers alike. Rock Band 2 which is coming out later this month, (September 30th), and Guitar Hero World Tour, (October 26th), should also keep the music flowing. Now for the more aggressive gamers what could you play that would inflame that competitive spirit as well as keep you and your friends entertained. Well, let’s start out with a game of Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Who doesn’t want to earn the bragging rights and be the King of the Nintendo battlefield. This game never gets old. With a ton of items that you can turn on or the strait up brawls with three other players. You will be entertained for hours. If you don’t think that is enough to get the blood flowing why not a little dose of Halo. Whether it be 1,2, or 3 Halo will keep you and your friends entertained. Whether you go through the campaign together on Halo 3, play the local multiplayer, or system link for up to 16 players, it is a good way to keep your party fun. So you see Gamer’s have the tools to throw some kick rump parties. Now all we have to do is work on our social skills.
