Theatre Happenings Theatre HappeningsABET awarded grantThe Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre (ABET) has been awarded $9,500 to purchase new lighting and sound equipment. Trustees of The Community Foundation have awarded 20 grants for a total of nearly $500,000 to several organizations. The ABET grant will be used for equipment upgrades at the theater. Limelight present the Seventh Annual Celebrity CabaretThe Limelight Theatre's Board of Directors will present the seventh annual Celebrity Cabaret fundraiser on November 19, 20, 21 and 22. The show features many of St. Augustine's most prominent residents performing a variety of musical numbers, lip-syncing the lyrics in full costume and creatively choreographed. Tickets are $75.00 per person and include a pre-show cocktail party beginning at 7 p.m. with open bar throughout the evening and hors d'oeuvres by Carrabba's Italian Grill. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence.
