Bowden sees a better FSU team from last week
POSTED 09/27/2008 - For seven members of the Seminole football team, Saturday’s game in
Jacksonville will be a homecoming but with three games played in Jacksonville since 2005, it is not a new experience for most of this group. Last year FSU downed Alabama and three years ago the Seminoles won the ACC Championship and the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
Florida State has scored at least 21 points in every game played in Jacksonville since 1982 and will hope to get the offense restarted following the three point showing versus Wake Forest.
The Seminoles will meet Colorado Saturday. FSU leads the series 2-0, with wins in Tallahassee in 2003 and in Boulder last year.

The Florida State defense has looked impressive in practice this week as four players returned, shedding their gold scout team jerseys and re-joining their teammates in white.
"You hope every week that they pick it up a little bit. We have run down the list of reasons why they didn’t do well last game. I hope that we have worked on that this week," said Coach Bobby Bowden.
