Yulee area residents told to ‘boil water’
     POSTED 09/24/2008 - A water quality advisory issued Monday will remain in effect through 5 p.m. Wednesday according to Nassau County Emergency Management. The precautionary boil water advisory began September 22 after a water main break occurred Monday. More than 1,200 JEA water customers are affected.

Temporary Disaster Recovery Center opens in Baker County
     POSTED 09/23/2008 - For one week only, a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be open for Baker County residents. The center be open through Friday at the Baker County Fairgrounds in Macclenny. More register for FEMA help
     Residents in Nassau, Baker and Duval counties who suffered storm damage from Tropical Storm Fay are registering for individual and households assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The aid will provide assistance for such things as home repairs and living expenses which can include clothing, medical costs and transportation.
