A stroke of bad luck
A stroke of bad luck

MACCLENNY, FL - Murphy’s Law came in like a storm, a tropical storm that is, for Wayne and Lisa Sapp owners of the Cash Cow convenient store located at 6951 State Road 121 at the intersection of Mud Lake Road in south Macclenny. You’ve probably seen the sign.
On September 12 the store’s electrical panel decided it had enough and caught fire, putting them out of business until it could be fixed. Then luck would have it, Tropical Storm Fay decided to come calling.
After Fay had cleared and their new panel was installed, they opened for business only to have the newest panel fail. The good news is they are now open for business and eager to serve all of their old customers and make new ones too. The Cash Cow’s hours of business are every day Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30am to 7:00pm. In case you didn’t know, these guys serve a great home-style breakfast and lunch too.
Next time you are traveling between Baker and Bradford or Union counties, stop in for breakfast or a bite for lunch. They also offer Friday night pickin’. It’s live Bluegrass on Friday nights from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Stop by and see them as soon as you can, even if just to get a soda and a candy bar when you are in need of a snack.
Come on down and share the love, these guys have had a run of the bad luck for sure and could use some smiling faces to cheer them up.
