Scobee saves it for the Jags
It literally came down to the wire for the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday. Josh Scobee’s 51 yard field goal with only seconds remaining in the game gave the Jags their first win of the season putting them on top of the Colts 23-21.
Jacksonville was on the verge of falling to 0-3 for the first time since 2003 after Peyton Manning took the Colts 77 yards before Joseph Addai pushed into the end zone to take the lead 21-20 with 2:33 left in the game.
The Jags led by David Garrard managed to move the ball down the field and into field goal range with just seconds left on the clock.
Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor each topped 100 yards as the Jaguars piled up 236 yards on the ground.
