POSTED 10/01/2008 - Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster recovery continues for Baker, Duval and Nassau counties for property owners hit by Tropical Storm Fay.

Affected residents and business owners may apply by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362) from 7 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. Online registration is available at www.FEMA.gov. Deadline for registering with FEMA is October 27, 2008.


All numbers are as of close of business Monday, September 29.

Duval County

Total registrations with FEMA: 2,113
Visits to Disaster Recovery Center (which opened 9/06/08): 598
Dollars approved by FEMA for Individual and Household Assistance: $1,048,888.43

Nassau County

Total registration with FEMA: 163
