Jacksonville salutes the U.S. Navy, October 10-12

The City of Jacksonville and the Mayport and Jacksonville Councils of the Naval League will celebrate the 233rd anniversary of the U.S. Navy and the 20th anniversary of the Jacksonville Navy Memorial Saturday, October 11 - Monday, October 13 at the downtown Riverfront.

The event will include tours of the USS Stephen W. Groves docked in front of the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the Northbank, live entertainment, booths and interactive displays. There will be fireworks show on Saturday night.

There will also be a Navy Memorial 20th Anniversary Rededication Ceremony on Monday, October 13 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Navy Memorial Statue on the Southbank.
