Union ambulance involved in Gainesville crash

A Union County ambulance transporting a patient to Shands Medical Center in Gainesville was involved in an accident Sunday night on NW 13th Street. A paramedic and the driver of the other vehicle were injured.

Police say the ambulance was headed south on NW 13th Street around 9 p.m. with both the emergency lights and sirens on when it crshed in the intersection of NW 16th Avenue with a Honda Accord.
