FWC officers remove large python from busy road
     POSTED 10/10/2008 - Law enforcement officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) removed a Burmese python from Indiantown Road near Sierra Square Plaza in Jupiter Farms late Monday night.

Fishing Report for Northeast Florida
     POSTED 10/09/2008 - Fishing has been great from Jacksonville to St. Augustine. October is a great month to target flounder. Fishing docks, jetties, and creek mouths are where you want to target flounder this month. Mullet and mud minnows are great baits to use for flounder using a jig head. If you prefer artificial, a 3" Gulp on a jig head is hard to beat.

New small game hunting area opens in Marion County
     POSTED 10/08/2008 - Small game hunters have a new hunting opportunity in Marion County this season called the Marshall Swamp Public Small Game Hunting Area. This is a cooperative effort of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Greenways and Trails.
