Tina Love last saw her pet Siberian lynx, Simba, early Saturday morning. After a rain storm, she removed Simba from its outside cage and put the cat on the enclosed porch, Love said. Love awoke later that morning to find Simba missing. Love said there is a small break in the screen, which may have been Simba’s escape route. Love also speculated that Simba may have been stolen.
Simba weighs approximately 50 pounds and was wearing a red collar with crystals. Simba is fairly domesticated, and has been de-clawed. However, the public is asked not to attempt to capture the animal.
If anyone sees Simba, please call the FWC’s Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC.
