Well, it finally happened. Bungie dropped the bomb. Start the countdown for September 2009. That’s the date when Halo 3: Recon drops.

Halo 3: Recon puts you in the role of an ODST, Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, as you play out the events that take place on Earth between Halo 2 and 3. While it will still be that same Halo experience, Recon will require more stealth type situations.

So, what is the difference between Spartan’s and ODST’s? Well, first off ODST’s are just as courageous as Spartans but, just not as powerful or as "super human." However, what they lack in strength they make up with their ferocious attitudes and unwavering nerve. Don’t think that the new hero will be any less resourceful as Chief.

Multiplayer will also get an update. With exclusive new maps as well as well as full Forge options online players will have no complaints.

So, sit back and start counting down the days until you can take on the Covenant and save the galaxy.
